2014: $23,000 Mission Kids and ~$9,000 Centre County Women’s Resource Center
In May 2014, the Lisa Diener Domestic Violence Foundation raised $23,000 for Mission Kids. Mission Kids used these funds to purchase new state-of-the-art recording technology and to help pay for the staffing of Forensic Interviewers and Family Advocates for the increasing number of interviews conducted by Mission Kids.
The technology upgrade will increase the efficiency of the judicial process by allowing the professionals involved in the investigation to witness the interview first-hand and receive a recording of the child’s account of the crime– preventing the child from recounting their experiences over and over, which can often cause additional stress on the child victim.
Additionally, Mission Kids was able to upgrade their website and develop new educational content for care givers and the victims.
October 2014: The LDDVF was an organization sponsor for the Laurel House of Montgomery County Annual Run / Walk during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
On December 6th, 2014: Lisa Diener Domestic Violence Foundation delivered over $9,000 worth of supplies needed for the Penn State / Centre County Women’s Resource Center where women, children and pets can go to create a new life after leaving an abusive relationship. The Women’s Resource Center was the foundation to Lisa Diener’s passion for helping women and children in abusive situations. As an undergraduate she volunteered at the shelter and decided then and there that she wanted to make a difference as more than a volunteer. This was her entry to the field of domestic violence and what we heard from the shelter confirmed what we assumed – she impacted so many lives in her work. With great honor, pride and heart, we delivered these amazing gifts to the shelter.
December 2014: The LDDVF facilitated the donation of 50 classic toy trucks to Greenhouse17. The LDDVF received the donation from another charitable organization in Montgomery County, PA, Trucks for Maddox.

“Lisa had such a passion for helping women; it was at the core of her being. Lisa never resisted an opportunity to give her clients everything they deserved and she never compromised her integrity in offering whatever services they needed. She fought the good fight, for them, for all of us and for herself. “
